A little late to the game on this one but here's cumpiano's take on it. http://dolcecano.blogspot.com/2011_07_0 ... 3913189155

For what its worth I use Cumpiano's method.

If done correctly it results in a neck angle of 1.5 degrees with the shoulders tipped slightly back and the neck block orthogonal to the soundboard curve so that the neck block is 90 degrees square to the soundboard, so the the fretboard is straight from the nut to the last fret with no falloff.

Although there are a lot of things I don't have yet, I think Im going to start gearing up for the mold type build on this next guitar and see how it go's!! Im also going to be building a go bar deck it just looks to convenient to have one. I found a source for the fiberglass rods in 3/16" for around .50 a foot. I am going to start out with 25 go bars at 2' lengths and build my deck to be adjustable. I do like the ones I have seem that double as shelfs or that come down from the ceiling. Thanks for all of the help on this thread fellas!!! This forum is an inspiring gold mine of information and a great community of incredibly kind folks!!! Thanks everyone!!!!
